• Wuyi Rock Tea

    • £12.00

Wuyi Rock tea comes from the rocky, mineral-rich soil on the Wuyi Mountains. The Wuyi Mountains are in the north-western part of the Fujian province of China. They are a collection of jagged-edged peaks, almost always shrouded in clouds and fog. According to legend, the mother of a Ming dynasty Emperor was cured of an illness by drinking tea that was grown in the Wuyi Mountains. The grateful Emperor sent red robes to clothe these tea bushes which are now among the most highly prized in all of China.
