Jukro Green – Organic Green tea 2023 harvest
£15.60
This award-winning wild green tea is grown in South Korea, south of the Jirisan National Park. Watered by the pure waters of the Sumjin river, it is grown on the organic soil of the Jukro tea farm surrounded by bamboo trees. Isabelle and Hayeon visited Mr Cho in Hadong during their tea buying trip to Korea and we now keep in regular contact. The tea is carefully handpicked by Mr Cho’s team of female tea pickers and then processed in the traditional Korean way.
This fabulous tea is rich and buttery with vegetal notes and the immediate sweetness of summer stone fruit. ‘Jukro Green’ fills the mouth with a velvety texture. Later infusions bring out pleasant zesty notes while keeping the full mouthfeel of the first infusion. An absolute delight!

Wow, trying this tea the first time is a revelation! I couldn’t believe it. It’s exactly the kind of tea I like (what I personally describe as a fresh, clean taste), and that in top quality. I’m in love!
Angela –
High quality green tea. Very refreshing and clean taste that reminds you of a luscious green pasture. The colour of the tea in the cup is a beautiful emerald green.
Katarina –
This tea smells and tastes of sweet green hay with a mild astringent finish. It is smooth and incredibly drinkable. Delicious.

A smooth, fresh brew with a velvety, buttery base and gently astringent, grassy top notes, with vegetal flavors becoming more prominent on the second steep. Both the dry leaves and prepared tea have a delightful aroma of freshly mown hay.
