      This Ceylon tea comes from the Pettiagalla estate in the Dimbula region in the south west of Sri Lanka. The Dimbula region is west of the central mountains and provides mid to high altitude growing conditions which produce very rich and fragrant teas. Produced in the “orthodox” style with large leaves (classified as Orange Pekoe size) it is a refreshing tea with a long and elegant finish.

    Dimbula Ceylon

    Tasting notes:

    It has strong and rounded Ceylon flavour. It is dark amber in colour
    It has a fabulous taste reminiscent of freshly buttered toast with honey. This tea is a perfect breakfast or afternoon tea and can be taken with milk, lemon, or enjoyed on its own.


    Water temperature: 95˚C

    Infusion time: 3 – 5 minutes
