Which teas have got more caffeine?
White teas have got more caffeine than most other teas (due to amount of buds).
The teas with least caffeine are, among others, Pu’erh teas, roasted teas and also teas such as our Kukicha is not made of leaves but of twigs and stems.
The longer you infuse your tea, the more caffeine will be released.
How could I boil water to 70ºC if I do not have a temperature-controlled kettle?
If you do not have a kettle with a thermostat that boils your water to the recommended temperature, you can boil your kettle as usual and then add some cold water to bring the temperature to around 70ºC.
Why is my green tea bitter?
Check the temperature of the water you used to make your tea. It should not be hotter than recommended. Tea infuses even in cold water, so it is best to be use water that is less than the recommended temperature than above it.
How to get all the flavours of my tea?
When tasting, smell the tea to discover its aromas, sip it to reveal its taste, and while sipping try sniffing air into your nose in short bursts. This could reveal new aromas from your tea.
Is there more caffeine in green or black tea?
Studies would suggest that black tea has more caffeine than green tea.

However, this is just a general rule. As we mentioned before green tea leaves contains relatively more L-theanine than black tea leaves. This could justify a perception that green tea has a stronger stimulating effect on the brain, as L-theanine helps concentration.
